You do have to be careful of the tiny grounds stuck in the crevices of the device if you're using it to scoop tea leaves directly from the container, it will get into the cup

I own a zillion tea pots, but I usually just end up being lazy and using a teabag because of the hassle of using and cleaning a teapot (and making so much at once). I added this little gadget to my collection, and now I just scoop a little bit of tea in, and get brewing! I keep it in its stand on the counter, so it's always easily accessible. It's SO easy to clean (just pop off the screen) and to store the tea in there if you are doing a second brew. I'm now getting through my loose tea again, and loving it!

I love the fine mesh that ensures no tiny bits end up floating out into my tea, and I really love how easy this is to clean. I love the design, and I wish I could recommend it to go along with my other Kinto products, but there are some quality issues with this. I purchased this infuser in June and within a few months the plastic housing had cracked. I don’t use this tea infuser daily, maybe a few times a month. Eight Ounce was gracious enough to replace it for me at no charge. I’ve had my replacement for a couple of months and the housing has cracked again in almost the exact same location. My search continues for the perfect tea infuser.

Easy to clean and store. Doubles as a stir stick. Good for when you want a cup of tea and you're not making tea for multiple people.
