The vertical burr design on this grinder is a total standout, delivering the kind of grind uniformity that makes every cup taste noticeably cleaner. While the ergonomics feel a bit awkward at first, you quickly adapt to the motion. It’s nowhere near as difficult or cumbersome as most reviewers make it out to be.

I've been wanting to buy this grinder for over a year and no stock is available in Australia.

I randomly came across Eight Ounce Coffee and was surprised that they not only had the Pietro Pro Brew, but also had it in the colour I wanted (Pastel Blue).

Needless to say I purchased it immediately and was pleasantly surprised at the expedited shipping. To top things off, the accessories pack was included, free of charge!

The grinding experience isn't great, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. After 2KG of seasoning, this grinder is producing the finest filter coffees I have made to date, it's that good.

After almost a year of usage im writing this review.
Its been a journey.
I have the pro burrs.
There were moments in which i wanted to sell it and to get the ZP6 instead of it.
In the beginning the cups were muddy and couldn’t understand the taste.
You must season the burrs in order to get a good cup.. it took me almost a year of a daily usage, around 15 grams sometimes 30 grams of coffee, to get to the point in which im getting a very nice cups, cups that are way better than my 1zpresso x-pro. Clean, sweet, with a balanced acidity.

The work flow is annoying. U will find yourself struggling to grind. Every grind is a workout. The grinder is not stable. Twice it slipped from the table while grinding and fell to on the ground.
Good news for those that dont want to workout, there are aftermarket electrical motor for which u can install the burrs.

Pro tip- if u having too much fines or inconsistent grind, make sure to disassemble the burrs, clean in and than make sure to insert the inner burr all the way in.

I will definitely will buy the electrical motor. What makes this grinder to shine are the burrs designed by Lance Hedrick.

I hesitated for a long time before purchasing this, I just couldn't justify the price when I could get an electric grinder for the same price. There is also a lot of complaints behind the user experience of the grinder which further pushed back any desire to purchase it. I finally decided to pull the trigger and get this after a year, and im glad I got it. The user experience so far is not great, but its not as bad as people say. It does take more work to grind, and isn't as smooth to use as other hand grinder. But its worth all of these downsides with what you get in the cup, it makes all that work have a grand payoff.

Great grinder, using mainly for espresso and ergonomics are not as bad as other reviews led me to believe
