SILICONE SEALS BETTER

Replace that leaky gasket in the group head of your Rancilio espresso machine with this neutral and aroma-free silicone gasket. The soft consistency creates a better seal and makes installation even easier.
- 8.4mm conical design and external grooves match standard Rancilio group head gaskets
- Heat resistant silicone
- Forms tight seal without tightening the portafilter as much as a standard gasket
- Fits all Rancilio espresso machines, including Rancilio Silvia
- 78mm x 58mm x 8.4mm Green Silicone Gasket
- Petroleum based grease can degrade silicone. Use a silicone lubricant instead, ideally a food safe white grease.
- Use the portafilter with the basket removed to install the gasket to avoid breakage
Use to replace the old gasket on your compatible Rancilio espresso machine.

Please note that although the gaskets are strong under compression, you should never use a sharp tool like a screwdriver to install them. This may tear the silicone.

The silicone gasket replaces Rancilio's original rubber gasket. Mine did not seat properly the first time, but I popped it out and reinstalled it, then (on the advice of my brother in law) cranked the filter arm to the right without any coffee in the filter, just to seal the gasket as tightly as possible. No more leaks!

Much Softer than the Standard Gaskets

This went in a bit easier than the standard and is a lot softer. What that means for durability and ease of removal (the worst part of the standard ones) is yet to be seen. I'm hopeful that this will be easier to remove when older. One of the other reviewers mentioned it shouldn't harden over time so we'll see how this goes! So far there is no leakage when pulling shots which is the main function of the gasket.

Great replacement for the standard gasket. As it is silicone they should not harden over time, they are softer so you have be to be a bit more careful with installation. Recommended
