A CLOTH FILTER FOR YOUR HARIO V60? THIS IS THE ONE!

Using soft, organic cotton, this V60 filter is hand-sewn in the USA. It fits on any HARIO V60-03 dripper or brewer, and comes in a pack of two - so you've always got a spare.

We love the difference this filter makes. Not only are you reusing your filter, you're also creating a totally different flavour profile than you would get with paper or metal filters. Cloth filters allow more oils through, and therefore give you more body - without sacrificing complexity.

We've found that brew times using a CoffeeSock are a little faster (20-30s) than when using the same coffee with a paper filter. You may need to make your grind a little finer than what you would normally use for paper filter.

Cleaning Instructions:
- compost your grounds (great for your soil)
- turn your sock inside out and rinse with hot water
- squeeze out excess water, and hang up to dry thoroughly between uses. this is all the cleaning that is necessary with ordinary use
To further sanitize occasionally, or as necessary:
- boil for 5 minutes
- or run through dishwasher
- or soak in water and microwave on high

Not what I was hoping for

Was good at first but became harder and harder to clean over time and was negatively affecting the taste of the coffee. I've done away with it and gone back to paper filters.

Good product

I was concerned that there would be a taste and that it would be difficult to clean. I was happily proved wrong on both.

Seems worth the cost

The V60-03 is hard to get papers for, and ordering this helps me feel better about cutting down on paper waste. Despite the name, there's no sock taste. Fiddle with the grind settings - you probably need to go a few steps coarser.

great product

simple concept but great to get rid of needing a continual supply of paper filters. Easy to rinse and reuse a few days in a row.

Brews a great pourover

I wasn't sure a cloth filter would do the job, however I have yet to turn out a bad cup with this filter. I do typically make two at once which probably helps, however it's a snap to clean and doesn't waste any paper.
