  • Tired of constantly buying Aeropress filters? Sick of throwing them away? Using soft, organic cotton, this cloth Aeropress filter is hand-sewn in the USA. It fits in your Aeropress, and comes in a pack of two - so you've always got a spare. We love the difference this filter makes. Not only are you reusing your filter, you're also creating a totally different flavour profile than you would get with paper or metal filters. Cloth filters allow more oils through, and therefore give you more body - without sacrificing complexity.

    • Fits Aeropress Coffeemakers (not included)
    • 100% Made in USA by Coffee Sock
    • Organic cotton
    • Two filters per pack
    • Can be used in a machine, or pourover
  • Cleaning Instructions:

    • compost your grounds (great for your soil)
    • turn your sock inside out and rinse with hot water
    • squeeze out excess water, and hang up to dry thoroughly between uses. this is all the cleaning that is necessary with ordinary use

To further sanitize occasionally, or as necessary:

    • boil for 5 minutes
    • or run through dishwasher
    • or soak in water and microwave on high

If you know you know

I converted to cloth a while ago for pourover brewing. I love the aeropress as my work brewer. So this is a match made in flavor.

Size seems off

I love the coffee sock, I have it for 3 other brewers, however I feel like the sock for the Aeropress seems a bit small. also the ends always seem to flip up when they dry. I use a combo of a metal disk and the coffee sock and it seemed to fix the problem and make a great brew.

Rich and clean

So I have mostly been using the Able Disk filter with my Aeropress (for many years). I like the extra body and the silt I can usually ignore. With finer grinds the metal filter can become harder to press, especially if not completely cleaned from previous use.
Decided to give this a try as another reusable option. So far I am impressed. Nice body, no fines, easy to press. The upkeep hasn't been too much of a chore either. I just make sure to use the spray nozzle in the sink to clean it after each use and then pop it back in a small nalgene jar in the freezer until the next use. When I take it out I pop it in my mug with some hot water while my brew is steeping to get it ready again. Simple. So far I am half and half with this and the Able disk in use.

A good surprise. I store the filter in the fridge or freezer based on James Hoffman's treatment of cloth filters and I'm not getting any musty flavors in my cup.

Smooth and beautiful

These produce such a silky mouthfeel - a totally different cup to what I'm used to!
