Cleaning Instructions:
HuskeeSteel needs to be cared for differently than other Huskee products and ranges. It is made from 91% post-consumer recycled stainless steel and is rust-resistant, odourless, and long-lasting. Follow the below advice and cleaning guide to ensure that your HuskeeSteel maintains its functionality and can be used to its maximum lifespan.

To clean the exterior of HuskeeSteel it is recommended that you:
1. Rinse HuskeeSteel with warm water to remove any particles or dirt.
2. Use a mild dish soap and a soft sponge or cloth to gently wash the cup's interior and exterior.
3. Rinse the cup thoroughly with warm water to eliminate any soap residue.
To clean the inside, which is lined with ceramic, it is recommended that you:
1. Gently hand wash the cup using warm water and mild detergent.
2. Rinse the cup thoroughly with warm water to ensure all detergent is removed.
3. NOT use abrasive cleaners, scrub brushes, or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the powder-coated finish.

Nice addition to the Huskee line-up

The ceramic lining keeps the coffee tasting as it originally was. Compared to the regular Huskee cup, this version doesn't impart a slight woody taste or scent and the coffee stayed hot longer.

The shape is good for direct brewing with something like a V60-01 or aeropress. However, you would be limited to less than 8 ounces of total fluid due to the internal spacing.

I would have liked to see the ceramic lining meet the powder coating. There is still a small bit of stainless steel exposed on the rim of the cup. Chipping of the coating is a concern in the long term.

The lid takes getting used to. It isn't the same shape as the original Huskee lids. But an improvement here is that it can now fully seal the coffee in. I still wouldn't place it in a bag but it gives me a bit more confidence in not spilling the coffee on the go. Sipping without the lid still offers the best experience in taste.
