Switching to an electric grinder

I was used to grinding my beans with a German made (Zassenhaus) grinder for the last 15 years. While it was close to earth etc. it did not accurately grind my beans beyond pour over or french press. I have an entry level espresso maker now and was wanting something that could provide fresh grind for it. The Opus grinds amazingly evenly and easily provides fine enough grind for this espresso maker. I use a grind of 4 or 4.5 right now because anything finer and my poor espresso maker cannot develop enough pressure to drive the water through my puck, Many thanks to Fellow and 8 Ounce for offering this superb grinder. quiet and quick

A small grinder perfect for my apartment. It fit easily on my counter and seamless into my routine. The most noticeable quality is that the opus is drastically quieter than my previous grinder.

wonderful

grinder is very accurate and easy to dial in. grinder provides wonderful grind consistency for a conical burr spinning at 350 RPM. and super wonderful and aesthetically pleasing in matte black

Easy to use, does generates some static if cleaning is neglected, but it’s been fairly consistent for the price.

Great for the price!

Really consistent and a massive step up from my previous grinder (a cheap false burr one). I have some small gripes, like the grind time, plastic components, etc, but for the price those are expected. I would rather have those issues than ones affecting the quality of the grind 👍
