This Toronto-based not-for-profit supports, promotes, and showcases art from Canada’s Black diaspora. Founded in 2009 by a group of artists and community leaders, the Centre has always been grounded by a framework that promotes social justice and skills-building through Black artistic traditions.

Good Neighbour is a pay-what-you-can thrift store dedicated to uplifting the community through food redistribution, social service referrals, as well as access to free toiletries and haircuts to name a few. The non-profit is run by volunteers and frequently partners with charities that offer frontline support.

Last month, one of our team members lost their father to cancer. In honour of Gary Pearce, husband, father, brother, friend, and community advocate, we are matching donations for one of the largest comprehensive cancer centres being built on Turtle Island (North America). Let's make world-class treatment, care, and research possible at the new Calgary Cancer Centre.

As we honour Veterans' Week, Indigenous Veterans Day, and Remembrance Day this November, consider making a donation to the Veterans Transition Network (VTN). They are the only Canadian charity delivering mental health services specifically for veterans from coast to coast.
