The Varia AKU Scale is loaded with advanced features, normally exclusive to higher priced weighing plates. The AKU offers auto-taring, auto-timing as well as full-manual mode, to meet the needs of both home and pro baristas.

Small enough to put in your pocket, the AKU can detect weights from 0.3g to 3.1kg, charges via USB-C and comes with easy-to-select (and audible) buttons and a physical on/off switch, reducing the chance of an accidental resets and power-downs.

The ultra clear, 9-digit LED display, IPX5 water resistance, and small footprint that will fit most espresso machine drip trays, makes the Varia AKU a perfect scale for both pourover and espresso brewing.

The AKU is fitted with an extremely high quality load cell with 0.1g sensitivity across the entire weighing range and is die cast and CNC machined to industry levels of precision to ensure the most precise tolerances, providing ultimate accuracy, stability and precision when weighing and making adjustments.

Great Scale - Matches my Varia Grinder!

Measuring my coffee with this thing before sliding them into my Varia grinder is just what the doctor ordered. Matches my Varia grinder, looks slick, and quality is great. It is a good investment for forever use!

Damaged case foam

The calibration weight inside the case caused the foam separating each included part to lift and tear, before getting the chance to use the item. It was a deal breaker for me, but the scale seemed heavy duty with an optimal size for pour-over or espresso.

Superior

I use this for weighing beans and pouring for pourover. Deadly accurate, a serious scale, and unencumbered with IMO unnecessary bluetooth features to spoil your early morning. I’m completely satisfied so far, not just for espresso. Been happily using for about a month. Also, good battery life on the rechargeable battery.
