Made from fine ceramic ground premium Japanese certified organic houjicha from Rie Prefecture. This powdered tea is easily mixed into hot water as an instant tea. It is carefully ground for 14 hours. Perfect for cooking and houjicha latte. A great way to get all of the nutrients of houjicha tea with less caffeine. Earthy roasted aroma, balanced bitter-sweet flavour with a hint of smoke, clean after taste. Unlike matcha tea, this powdered houjicha tea has a dark brown color.

Didn't like it at all

I didn't order this, but it was sent to me by mistake (I ordered the Hojicha leaves, not the powder). The customer service was willing to fix their mistsake promptly. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this free tea. It just lacks the aroma of Houjicha. Perhaps it's better for culinary purpose?!
