  • GIVE YOUR FLAT BOTTOM A PROFILE

The Sibarist Profilers are a set of tools used to modify and alter the contact surface within the filter for flatbed dripper brews, altering the extraction strength and the drawdown flow and finally providing a different and unique sensory cup profile.

Each profiler has a different contact surface/free space ratio, starting from 25% to 85% open areas. A 15% increase between each profiler from I (1) to V (5). Each profiler can increase or reduce the extraction yield and drawdown, depending on the dripper and filter used, becoming a tool to experiment with on your brewing set up, and find which profiler help you to extract the best in each extraction.

There are two profiler packs available; one with profilers I (25%), III (55%), IV (70%) and V (85%) for the people who already have the Sibarist BOOSTER (40%), and another that also includes the BOOSTER.

    • Suitable for flatbed drippers with 45mm diameter bed (most of the flat bed drippers, like Orea V3, Kalita 155 & 185, Fellow, April, etc.) in combination with any flatbed filter.
    • Material: Stainless Steel AISI 304 with food grade gold plating.
  • HOW TO BREW USING A PROFILER

    1. Wash with soap and hot water before the first use.
    2. Place a Profiler inside the flatbed dripper, ensuring that sits on the bottom in a leveled and flat position parallel to the dripper bottom.
    3. Place a coffee filter inside the dripper.
    4. Rinse the filter ensuring that the bottom of the filter is in contact with the Profiler.
    5. Add coffee and brew.

    HOW TO CLEAN

    1. Let the brewing set up cool down to room temperature.
    2. Remove the filter and the Profiler from your dripper. Ensure that you have the Profiler, it could be on the dripper bottom or stuck to the paper filter.
    3. Rinse it with hot water.

It works!

Just started experimenting with the pack. I have tried the booster with the Orea V4. It led to a more consistent flow and brighter cups. I am looking forward to trying other four profilers!
